M.A.A.D Hospitality founder David Wiesner has over 30 years of experience in producing large scale events for clients such as Volkswagen, Mercedes, Siemens, Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, SAP, and Microsoft. Through his catering company Monterone Inc, he has provided high-end, large scale catering to the film and entertainment industries, celebrities, the fashion industry and art fairs. He is accustomed to providing highly complex food delivery solutions that exceed client expectations in a short space of time and to the highest standards.

With the opportunity to help his fellow New Yorkers, amid the Covid-19 global pandemic, the deepest crisis the city has faced in the past 100 years, he made it his calling to help.

David and his team turned the task of serving up to 7,500 meals per day, 24/7, at two locations that had no cooking facilities, into a mission that needed to be accomplished.

They were given only two days to deliver an end-to-end solution. Evaluate the situation. Assess the needs. Define a plan. Deliver solutions. Sourcing/building facilities, staffing, procuring product, building off site serving facilities, coordinating logistics, vehicles, and setting up overall production while abiding by stringent local and federal guidelines, rules and regulations in the midst of a global pandemic were some of the challenges they faced.

Using all their experience and deep understanding of what was needed to prepare and deliver under extreme pressure, the team’s hands on approach and tireless work ethic proved pivotal. They delivered a successful product that exceeded all client expectations

Inspired by his experience, David founded M.A.A.D Hospitality. Using the initials of his son, David created a company built exclusively on the mission to help. Providing disaster relief catering solutions in times of crisis where and when help is needed most. Producing freshly prepared, delicious, nutritious, ever changing meals to support the ones on the frontlines saving lives is the mission, regardless of the circumstances, environment and obstacles that need to be overcome; M.A.A.D is here to help.
